Some regulations for identifying glass rod appearance defects

(1) All appearance defects of different names and degrees adjacent to the glass rod should be deducted separately, but if they are mixed together, the most serious one will be deducted.

(2) Within the specified length of the Fiber Glass, the division of defects that are deducted by number shall be strictly selected.
(3) All defects that are deducted by the length of the glass rod shall be calculated according to the maximum length.
(4) When measuring the length of intermittent or scattered defects on the glass rod, if the spacing is 1 cm or less, measure the entire length; if the spacing is greater than 1 cm, measure the length separately.
(5) Defects such as debris and dragging yarn must be repaired. If the repair is poor, deduct points according to similar defects.
(6) False cuts should be clearly marked and will not be counted in production. The starting point for deduction is 10 cm. The length of a false cut shall not exceed 3 meters. If it exceeds 3 meters, it will be cut. If the spacing between two false cuts is less than 1 meter, the interval distance will not be counted in production.
(7) No points will be deducted for misaligned warps, loose warps, double warps, misthreaded warps, warp shrinkage and displacement within 1 cm of the Fiber Glass.
(8) A single defect will be deducted 5 points and can be treated as a false cut.
(9) For defects not specified in this standard, points can be deducted by referring to similar defects. The enterprise quality management department is responsible for handling.
