Some merchants do not know enough about glass rod themselves, and think that as long as it can be put on the wall, it will be fine.

Some merchants are profit-seeking. Regardless of whether the materials are qualified or whether there will be any future troubles, they are not pursuing the quality of materials, but the maximum profit, and they will do whatever it takes to compete at low prices. In order to survive in the market, some originally regular manufacturers have to lower the material quality requirements, reduce production costs, and join the ranks of low-price competition.
This has led to a vicious cycle in the glass rod market. And some users only require low prices, do not pay attention to the insulation effect, and insulation is just a formality. As long as the supplier can get away with it, they will not say anything, which leads to the use of inferior products in the insulation market. This is the reason why the glass rod market is difficult to formalize.
