Specifications for overlapping of anti-crack Fiberglass Cloth for interior walls

The Fiberglass Cloth is coated with alkali-resistant rubber and plastic materials and is a supporting product for the anti-cracking protective layer. The overlapping requirements are to cut off the raw edges of the Fiberglass Cloth and cut it to a length of no more than 3m. Apply anti-cracking mortar on the insulation layer with the thickness controlled at 3-5mm. Immediately wipe the Fiberglass Cloth with a zirconium-containing fiberglass Fiber Glass. It is made of base fabric and coated with alkali-resistant rubber and plastic materials. It is a supporting product for the anti-cracking protective layer. The overlapping requirements are:

1. Cut off the raw edges of the Fiberglass Cloth and cut it to a length of no more than 3m. Apply anti-crack mortar on the insulation layer. The thickness should be controlled at 3-5mm. Immediately use an iron trowel to press the Fiberglass Cloth into the anti-crack mortar. Mortar fullness should be 100%.
2. The overlap width of the Fiberglass Cloth should not be less than 50mm. The edges of the Fiberglass Cloth are strictly prohibited from dry overlap and must be embedded in anti-cracking mortar.
3. The Fiberglass Cloth at the inner corner should be pressed and overlapped, and its width should not be less than 50mm; the width of the Fiberglass Cloth at the outer corner should be pressed and overlapped not less than 150mm; the Fiber Glass mortar at the overlap should be 100% full. At the same time, it should be smoothed and straightened to maintain the squareness and verticality of the yin and yang corners.
4. A Fiberglass Cloth must be affixed along 45° at the four corners of the door and window opening, and a Fiberglass Cloth must be affixed to the four inner corners of the opening.
5. Pre-fold the Fiberglass Cloth at the yin and yang corners to facilitate the application of anti-crack mortar.
6. The first layer must be paved with double layers of Fiberglass Cloth. The overlap of the first layer of Fiberglass Cloth shall be butt-jointed. The second layer of Fiberglass Cloth shall be jointed in the same way as the general method.
During the construction of the anti-crack protective layer, if the Fiberglass Cloth is dry overlapped, the Fiberglass Cloth will not be able to be compounded or effectively bonded with the anti-crack mortar, and an anti-crack protective layer with good deformation resistance will not be formed, which will affect the transfer of deformation stress. As well as crack resistance and impact resistance, dry overlap of Fiberglass Cloth is strictly prohibited.
