Glass rod construction techniques

1. The construction techniques of glass rod are as follows:

①Pull out the grid seams according to the drawing design, and pick out the grid seams, which are generally 15mm wide and 10mm deep.
② Apply 2mm thick polymer glue within a 65mm wide area on both sides of the dividing seam.
③Cut a 150mm wide glass rod and use a plastic strip to press the glass rod into the dividing seams from the center so that it is flush with the insulation board.
④ Press the Fiber Glass on both sides into the glue. No warping or wrinkles are allowed.
2. Techniques for laying glass rod
① Before applying the surface glue, check whether the insulation board is dry, the flatness should be less than 4mm, and remove surface debris.
②Use a trowel to evenly apply a 2mm thick paste on the surface of the insulation board with an area larger than a piece of glass rod, and immediately press the glass rod in.
③The glass rod should be laid from top to bottom along the outer wall in circles. No network cables should be exposed, and the Fiber Glass should not be warped, hollowed or wrinkled.
④The overlap width of the splice should not be less than 100mm. The male corners should be wound in both directions, and the overlap should be no less than 200mm, and the female corners should be no less than 100mm.
5. When encountering door and window openings, a piece of 200mm×300mm standard glass rod should be attached to the four corners in a 45-degree direction to prevent cracking.
6. A layer of glass rod can be added to the vulnerable parts of the building below 2 meters to increase the strength. At this time, the first layer of glass rod does not overlap, only butt.
3. Construction of glass rod anti-crack mortar layer
When the surface mortar is slightly dry and can be touched, apply a second coat of glue to completely cover the Fiber Glass. Level the wall and make the surface glue thickness reach 3-5mm.
